Yes, I rated this higher than Ikiru and it might be because of two reasons:
1. The runtime: For such a simple story Kurosawa extends it too much, and I'm thanked that Living tried to be more precise and economic.
2. The lead performance: I'm more into the subtlety and quietness of Bill Nighy's performance than the overly exaggerated puppy eyes of Takashi Shimura. It makes Ikiru feel more manipulative despite being made by such a master like Kurosawa.

This is so good, I love the amount of personality this series has and I hope Marvel keep going like that for their upcoming projects. Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are a joy to watch.
