it's somehow cartoonishly bonkers and absolutely horrifying all at once. Also the final scene is truly a pleasant surprise.

Godzilla Minus One 2023
This was incredible and emotionally devastating. It’s easily one of the best Godzilla films ever made and one of the best films of the year. The lead, Kamiki Ryunosuke, gives a brilliant performance. In the year of Oppenheimer this felt like an adequate response. The American versions of Godzilla are extremely disrespectful and completely misunderstand the meaning behind Godzilla. It’s more than “big monster smash”. It was a response to the war and the damage that the nuclear weapons caused. (To be brief)

Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé 2023
This was an immersive look into the production aspects of a world tour. The concert scenes were done beautifully. The documentary aspects were very heartfelt and the segment on Beyoncé‘s daughter blue Ivy Carter were very emotional and very well done. Everything from the editing to the costumes to the lighting was stunning. it’s a little lighter on the social messaging in comparison to homecoming but emphasis on joy and life makes this a very fun watch it feels like…
