Bay’s focus on the individual lives and his empathy and humanism are honestly beautiful. Don’t get me wrong, this is stacked with issues. It’s definitely a bit longer than it needs to be. Its visuals are relatively weak for what Bay usually crafts (though there are a handful of impressive sequences throughout).
