I haven't looked into this, but I'll say right from the start this lost me with the truck full of screaming mimes (though I don't think they're screaming at the start).
I like the whole thing of Thomas (David Hemmings) gradually realizing that there's been a murder that's captured in his pictures, although him going that down that path initially feels a bit out of nowhere. Around that, though, there's a whole bunch of padding when it comes to parties and fashion shoots and stuff... I really don't see where this is trying to go.
The whole thing is a mix of ambiguity and gratuitousness that really didn't work for me, especially because it's trying to be both of those at once, even if there's a core element that I liked.
