London’s review published on Letterboxd:
So much of the camera work and transitions and visual style is reminiscent of Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and his Evil Dead trilogy. Some of the more horror centric scenes even reminded me of something like Drag Me to Hell. That is to say, this is very much a Sam Raimi directed film. A fucking blast to watch. I think the biggest let down is the script at it's core still is a MCU movie. It plays some things a bit too safe and some of the humor just doesn't land.
But it's still really really fun. Love the visual style, and it gets pretty bonkers. Forever will be disappointed that Sleepwalker didn't show up, but no one fucking knows who Sleepwalker is. This more than anything just reminded me how fucking fun it is to watch a Sam Raimi movie.
