    Death Note

Yes I know fucking strange it is to be rating this a 3 out of 10 while giving the live action Netflix movie a 5 out of 10. And yes I am very disappointed that's how my journey through Death Note ended.

I remember seeing the first episode of Death Note when it was airing on TV when I was 9 or so. It scared the shit out of me and I wanted nothing to do with it. Early in…

Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob

    Video Review

Sword and the Scoob rules. Loved Nick Frost as Merlin. The humor is substantially better than in Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo and I really like the storyline in this movie. I could have used some more iconic Scooby and Shaggy moments, but overall I LOVE Scooby-Doo and I really enjoyed this movie.

    Series: MCU Ranked

Even as a high schooler I don't remember being impressed by the Avengers first outing as a time. As I go through a lot of the MCU again for the first time in a long time, I am discovering just how much I dislike the first phase of the MCU.

Really can't even comprehend some of the decisions of this movie. So many poor character choices, and they really do not give a shit about the characters…

    In The Heights

    Year: 2021 Ranked

Wonderful, beautiful, and deeply deeply personal. The story and characters are much stronger than in Hamilton, but unfortunately I just have always found In The Heights to not have as strong of soundtrack as Hamilton.

The music has some incredible songs, and a few duds, and that really makes the pacing suffer and an already long movie is made to feel even longer.

Still, overall I loved the experience and it was super memorable. A lovely movie from star to finish, even if it dips in quality here and there.

    Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones

    2019 Ranked

Maybe it is the fact that I am not an edgy teenager anymore, but being controversial and edgy for the sake of being edgy or as some convoluted attempt at humor isn't funny to me. And that is all this comedy special is. Dave Chappelle says something controversial or just really fucking shitty and people laugh. It isn't ever even a joke. Instead he just pretty much says "I don't like trans people" to thunderous applause.

    He jokes…

    Series: Scooby-Doo Ranked

Now I haven't seen EVERYTHING Scooby-Doo related yet, but I am pretty well versed in the series. I have watched 99% of the movies, have seen three or four of the series, and have read extensively on the lore (yes there is Scooby lore and it's amazing). Going into this film I was very scared. Scooby-Doo is one of my all time favorite media franchises, and the outlook for this was not looking good. I went into…
