Even with beautiful moments of levity, this is undeniably a horror film. It’s impossible to watch yet you can’t look away. We witness the selfishness of humanity and nature’s indifference to the individual. The screams and cries will stick with me for a long time.

A necessary history lesson brought to the big screen. Thank you to everyone involved.

Jonathan Larson was a one-of-a-kind talent. Even the thickest of walls couldn’t suppress his explosive genius. He was gone too soon and could’ve been one of the best musical theatre composers of our time.

I hope that puts into perspective how daunting making this film probably was. It could’ve been those generic, one-note biopics that release every 4 months that feel overstuffed and heavy handed but it's not.

Instead, it's a very special film that I'll constantly revisit.
