The Social Network is a bit of a favourite of mine. It comes down to a few crucial components, brilliant writing from Aaron Sorkin, concise direction from David Fincher and Jesse Eisenberg's phenomenal lead performance as Facebook's founder Mark Zuckerberg. But just for good measure, let's throw in Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross's perfect award-worthy score (winning both a Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Original Score). This may be my 6th or 7th watch of The Social Network. It's one of those movies that is so rewatch able and it may seem a strange choice for a comfort movie, but it certainly makes my list!
Side Note: I have only just discovered that a sequel is possibly in the works. Aaron Sorkin said in 2020 that he would return to the writer's chair only if Fincher returned as Director. I salivate at the thought!
