I remember seeing this in 3D on opening night and I was completely blown away by the sheer technical triumphs in this movie. As a huge James Cameron fan, it really was a cinematic experience to see this film in 3D. About 2 hours later, the weak plot started to niggle at me and now almost 2 years later, it lingers with me destroying my initial experience with this movie hence the 3 1/2 stars. Sigh.
