    really enjoyed the practical effects!!! also the lighting was really nice, especially in the scene when scotty first opens the cabin. i loved the way the dust was illuminated to look like the smoke you see through out the rest of the film.

    they had this movie offered on my flight home from a vacation today and i had remembered seeing lots of praise so i ended up watching it! realized while doing so that maybe it should have been an at home watch as i couldn’t help but shed a few tears. the camera work is stunning and the characters felt so real to me. probably will come back to watch again sometime honestly!!

    emma is a great story so it’s no surprise this is a fun movie to watch, it is also so incredibly aesthetically pleasing!! anya taylor-joy is always terrific, i adore her work in period pieces!!!
