"Walter, I've been living with this little man for 26 years and he's never failed me yet."
At this point i'm beginning to doubt whether or not there is a director with more rewatchable films than Billy Wilder. In terms of screenwriting, it virtually does not get better than Wilder and Raymond Chandler. Unparalleled the way 107 minutes just fly by. Performatively speaking, there is a reason people think of Barbara Stanwyck upon hearing the words femme fatale. Edward G. Robinson still remains my favorite, but her quality is indisputable, and hey Fred MacMurray is here too..baby..
