"They’re gonna forget all about us the moment they’re out the door."
From the second the film begins, one virtually knows where everything is heading, yet it does not detract from the enjoyment whatsoever. My main gripe with this however comes in the form of Vinterberg not taking a definite stance on his subject, slightly diminishing the portrayed message in the process. In that sense, his "balanced" approach becomes even more formulaic than if he had denounced Alcohol all together in a darker drama or turned this into a complete dark comedy.
