Liam Underwood’s review published on Letterboxd:
As my journey through my Saw (2004) boxset came to a close, it made sense considering the time of year to begin a new journey through a new boxset which had recently arrived (thanks to a good deal on Amazon!) - Halloween on blu-ray. Firstly, the picture quality is stunning. I mean, you all know the film itself is fantastic, but the upgrade to blu is well worth it. I found it interesting to watch this back-to-back with Saw 3D (2010) - strip away all the technology and the gimmicks and boil it down to just pure terror, Halloween proves that THIS is how horror should be done. I love this film.
