Love that I can say I got to see a new Argento joint in cinemas. Not as in love with it being this one.
Definitely not his worst effort, but bafflingly feels phoned-in considering this is his first film in 10 years. Glimmers of goofy fun and a great score, but most of it feels flat. Not the return to form I had hoped for. The water snakes and attack dog were fun at least, but even then it just feels like aping of his older work.
