LETTRISTB0XD’s review published on Letterboxd:
While the Lettristboxd International endorse all manner of sense-deranging substances, and endorse also films that are dispiritingly long and assaultive, we must reject this film by the Argentine Noe, who has yet to realize that to be an unrepentant nihilist in your adolescence or your senescence is fine and even appropriate to your circumstances, but to be one in middle age is pitiful. This film is daring, but risks nothing, there is no madness to it beyond a monomaniac fixation on the sex act, no chance of it spinning off from its programmatic course to investigate a potato, the pathos of a potato! We mean who hasn't felt at least potatoesque at some point in their lives, such as when filling out an application for employment or waking up under 3+ layers of blanket? No wonder Chaplin made such a grand scene out of dancing potatoes, Charles Chaplin was essentially a potato, you know what we are saying? Iconic... We should go for a walk in the forest. Does anyone wish to go for a walk in the forest with us?
