kristen stewart has secured that oscar win. brilliant performance.

  • Promising Young Woman

    Promising Young Woman

an excellent and jaw dropping film. the writing and directing from Emerald Fennell and performance from Carey Mulligan is worth watching.

  • Titanic

a classic masterpiece that should be re watched at least once.

  • Squid Game

    Squid Game

it’s definitely worth the hype and recognition. squid game is unlike any other series i’ve seen in a while. outstanding production, acting and even writing and direction from Hwang Dong-hyuk himself. i’m neutral about the ending but overall one of the best series of this year.

  • Cherry

i haven’t been this excited for a film a LONG time. tom holland for sure won’t disappoint

  • The King of Staten Island

    The King of Staten Island

it’s been a while since i’ve actually enjoyed watching a film and i’m glad it was this one. pete davidson is such a funny guy and his performance made him seem like a cool person to be around with. the humor in this film was well delivered and the overall storyline surrounding his father made this heartwarming along with the bond with his character scott and ray. wouldn’t mind rewatching this again.

  • Lady Bird

    Lady Bird

can you believe this was greta gerwig’s directorial debut film and with that she made one of the best coming of age films???

  • Knives Out

    Knives Out

marta standing in front of her now mansion watching the thrombeys from below her is probably the greatest cinema ending.
rian johnson knew what he was doing.

  • The Social Network

    The Social Network

you’re telling me that andrew garfield didn’t get an oscar nomination just for delivering the line
“Sorry! My Prada's at the cleaners! Along with my hoodie and my 'fuck you' flip-flops, you pretentious douchebag!”

  • Little Women

    Little Women

Women, they have minds, and they have souls, as well as just hearts. And they’ve got ambition, and they’ve got talent, as well as just beauty. I’m so sick of people saying that love is just all a woman is fit for. I’m so sick of it!

i adore this film so much. thank you greta gerwig.

  • The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

forgot just how much i admire this film. the casting is perfect, the acting, story and the overall tone of the film that made this special in its own way. logan lerman, emma watson and ezra miller have such amazing chemistry on screen together and i personally felt the pain charlie went through towards the end of the movie. it hurts to see how his character suffered through the film.
anyway, netflix is a real one for adding this.

and in this moment i swear, we are infinite.

  • The Invisible Man

    The Invisible Man

watching this film gave me such anxiety and fear on what would happen next. it’s definitely a different approach to a psychological horror which i appreciated because not every horror film gave me such suspense like this one did.
elisabeth moss was just amazing and if it wasn’t for her performance and the way she carried the entirety of the film, then it wouldn’t be worth it. the last of the film was what made this so chilling to see as the character finally found herself.
