Alex Leonce’s review published on Letterboxd:
A fun sequel, with loads of dark sequences, that were effective (holy fuck, the ritual scenes, and child labour?!).
Like its predecessor, the action set-pieces, humour and Williams' score worked, Short Round made for a solid companion, with Indy, and despite the complaints, I didn't find Kate Capshaw's Willie to be that grating, lol.
The opening musical number is superb, now I see why Spielberg wanted to tackle West Side Story, decades later.
