I definitely hyped this up too much for myself. While Bad Times at the El Royale is really good, possibly even great, I couldn’t help but think it needed something more. The story world was really intersesting but many threads are left purposely dangling. In my mind, too many. 

All that said, the performances across the board are top notch. This is a movie I can see myself revisiting.
