Larry Taylor’s review published on Letterboxd:
The final act veers into Apocalypse Now territory and somehow its been a well-earned homage. Splattery and squibby and stabby in between honest, reflective moments that shape the story into noir at times. And it works beautifully.
Van Damme is creepy and awesome here in an abbreviated role, one half of a colonel Kurtz substitute (the other half being Dolph, whom Hyams clearly enjoys dispatching of in fun ways).
