Louis Chiasson’s review published on Letterboxd:
in which we get a rare glimpse into kubrick’s politics? clearly it’s working on an emotional level first and foremost but no one can deny there’s honesty in what this film shows is behind closed doors. for me it’s kubrick considering how the cruelties hidden in plain sight spell the end of a composed subconscious.
