Lauren Wilford’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's amazing to see so many actual, awkward 23-year-old men in a movie. I kept marveling at the casting until I realized that these were just literally the real guys who were here in this town/situation who agreed to be in the film using their real names. So much charisma and pathos! What the hell!
It's also just so wonderful to see a film about poor, rural people that doesn't condescend to them in any way. This is just their story, basically on their terms, from what I understand.
