40th anniversary screening
You walk into the movie theater, dark, extremely hot, a soft murmur of voices. Then you hear it, John Carpenter just fucking WAILING on the synth. Extremely effective, a true classic. Micheal Myers he's funny, until he's not and he completely snuff out his prey. Laurie Strode screaming her way through the night. Dr. Loomis wacking off in the bushes for 80 minutes before unleashing a full clip into a monster. From the fantastic cinematography to the pulsing soundtrack there's a reason it created a genre.
