The only thing I can give this film is that it's cinematography throughout was exceptional, and beautiful to look at. Aside from that it was boring, confusing, filled with weird choices directionally (foetus scenes, sex scenes)...For me this film just really dragged on and on without any real indication at where in life Marilyn was, it just sort of happened. It's almost as if Andrew Dominik thought the audience already knew her entire life story from start to finish.
