    Scream VI

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

The third act was a bit of a let down, and the identities of the ghostfaces were a bit underwhelming(having the same premise as one of Scream 2’s killers), however overall it’s still a very good film, and another testament to the consistency of the Scream franchise.

Rewatched Drive and it’s still my favourite film. Such a stunning looking film, Winding Refn makes L.A. look absolutely gorgeous at night. Took me too long to see this, but I finally got around to it. Great film, nice twist on the typical fairytale formula and there’s some great comedy throughout the film. Love Mike Myers accent in this, and Eddie Murphy also gives a fun and energetic voice performance as Donkey. Diaz is also good as Fiona, and Lithgow does great work as a villain you just love to hate. The animation style fits the tone of the film, and even though it flips the idea of the fairytale on its head, it’s still nice to see a fairytale ending. Donkey was the best. 8/10.
