WOW!!! Knowing that this was a slasher set during the COVID pandemic written by Kevin Williamson I was already expecting tongue-in-cheek humour commenting on the quarantine situation, or even the killer's motivations (...), but what I didn't expect was an incessant adrenalin-filled full hour chase sequence, extremely well edited, full of suspense, vigorously paced and with efficient jump-scares and doses of gore. John Hyams is the true star of the film; he knows where to put and how to move his camera for thrilling effects. Obviously, it doesn't bring the genius of "Scream", but it's a lot of fun for slasher lovers.
