The Lighthouse 2019
This film feels like it exists out of time. Isolated, per say, from the chronological mainstream film catalog. It’s such a unique and rewarding experience that gives so much to digest, yet can be adored regardless for it’s exquisite presentation and brilliantly crass humor. I’m so excited to watch it again, and again, and again. I can’t say if this is the best film of the year or not, but I can say that Dafoe gave easily my favorite performance…
