Kyle Zeman’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’ll always have a soft spot for this one, it’s my personal gold standard for coming-of-age movies. There’s just something about it, and I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it feels so genuine and that really hits me. Maybe it’s the janky amusement park aesthetic, the Eisenberg-Stewart chemistry, or just the general hilarity of its world, but I absolutely adore it.
I also credit seeing this movie as a kid with preparing me to deal with the infinite number of Frigo-esque characters that exist in the real world
