Joker 2019
This has been one of the hardest films for me to rate. I've spent the last three days thinking about it trying to put feelings into words. Joker is a strange film. All the things that could (should?) bother me don't. I actually liked it. I think Todd Phillips has some serious filmmaking chops that he really wants to use but doesn't quite know how to yet. Long Day's Journey Into Night 2018
This was worth seeing for the 60 minute long take alone. Took me a while to get a grip on the overall story but there's a lot of interesting things going on in this film. I'll probably have to rewatch at some point.
