If you’re able to make it through the stilted first act, this movie blossoms into an incredible meta theatrical romp. It was such a fun ride with the original cast, especially Arquette, and the new additions were fun and creepy. I can’t wait to keep watching what Quaid does going forward.
The only plot hole is how nobody immediately thought it was the Billie Eilish impersonator.
Also the mid movie toast to Wes had me shed a tear. If you really like what Scream is about, the real time criticism of a genre while playing those same tropes out itself, you’ll love this addition to the franchise.
