Kyle Donovan’s review published on Letterboxd:
Between Cookie Figowitz, Bird Runningwater, and Old Dolio, 2020 is shaping up to be a great year for silly fictional names.
As beautiful and well realized as Reichardt's other works from the past decade, although something about her first three features have made stronger first impressions. Would be disappointed if John Magaro's wonderfully sensitive performance was forgotten, though. It was also just nice to see a real movie instead of a never-ending wankfest. On a totally unrelated note, expect a review for La Flor before the end of the weekend.
