As this started, I was just very tired and took a little to get fully into the story, even though I was enjoying it. About an hour in, I was completely pulled in. And when part 2 hit, the film took absolute control. The story was definitely a lot to handle, but it was so fun that I didn’t feel too overwhelmed. The relationships gave the film it’s heart as that was the main driving force of the movie. The themes were told in such unique ways that a rewatch would still be a lot of fun and help sure up the ideas portrayed. It was very goofy, but that style helped rope me in. The narrative’s one-of-a-kind nature had me on a rope and wanting more. I wouldn’t say it’s better than Parasite, and I don’t think it should be the highest rated movie ever, but it was pretty great.
