Mini Review
Judas and the Black Messiah doesn't quite have the same emotional impact as Selma or the flair of BlacKkKlansman, and it has some issues with its pacing. That being said, this film was bold, shocking and extremely well directed. Kaluuya's performance deserves all of the praise and Lakeith Stanfield continues his journey to becoming a mega star. I was not aware of the true story behind the film either which made it all the more entertaining.
