EXPLORING WORLD CINEMA - FILM #50

Thomas Vinterburg's Another Round was the winner of this year's Best International Feature award at the Oscars, and deservedly so. Vinterburg and co-writer Tobias Lindholm have turned a really strange concept that you would expect to find in an episode of The Big Bang Theory into a meaningful exploration of alcoholism and the psychology of a mid-life crisis. Mads Mikkelsen's amazing performance and Thomas Vinterburg's (Oscar-nominated) dynamic camera work make Another Round a delight to behold.
