Saw this today as part of the Alex van Warmerdam exhibition and retrospective in the Eye Film Institute in Amsterdam.
The best part about Alex van Warmerdam is that you never quite know whether something's funny, sad, or deeply disturbing. No film of his shows this better than The Dress, where men are either already creeping on women or turn crazy because of a simple dress, and women get assaulted as a result.
