This year marks the eleventh years since my mother passed away, after trying to live with various types of cancer for 21 years. She died on November 7th, 2011. My father - who was a kidney and heart patient for 35 years - passed away due to colon cancer and (partly) vascular dementia (moderate cognitive decline) on October 30th, 2014. It's not the most pleasant month in the year - to say the least, but it gets better at times.

The first ten films are mom's favorites, the second ten films are dad's favorites.
