My 50 most favorite films

After determining my 500 favorite films (see Lists), I wanted to determine my 50 most favorite films I was faced with a few surprises. The fact is that films as such won't change: people change and notice, whether or not through their life experiences, more layers in films than there was at first sight. Noticing an extra or several new layer(s) in a film obviously has consequences for how you subsequently experience a film. Anyway, here are my 50 most favorite films. Maybe there will be other nuances in five years' time. The films are arranged chronologically. Film is not a competition. Nevertheless, this was tough.
