I know this has been said a million times now but Daniel Kaluuya gives a masterful performance. If you thought he was good in Get Out well you gotta watch this. Everyone talks about Daniel but I want to give a shout-out to Shaka King. I think the direction of this film is top notch. He turned what could have been a generic movie into a thrilling drama that I was captivated with. The second act does slow down the pacing a bit, but overall I can’t complain about this movie too much. Lakeith getting that Oscar nomination was fantastic though.
