Kristi Sejdi’s review published on Letterboxd:
Absolutely heartbreaking. A story of a young boy trying to know his own desires, to find himself.
Is the strength of the actors which makes this film extraordinary. So emotional and powerful.
The cinematography is the greatest thing in the film. So many beautiful shots. I really liked the ending, little Chiron looking at the sea in the evening under the moonlight, he turns his head and the gaze stays with me forever. I cried, this scene moved me. The first film that made me believe in the power of cinema. Moonlight absolutely deserved the academy award for Best Picture.
