  Maverick is a stunning triumph of an action blockbuster that takes Tony Scott's vision and achieves what his film couldn't due to the technological limitations of the era. Awe inspiring dogfights with a narrative that is perfectly ok.

  Apparently y'all forgot to tell me that Freaks is the best X-Men of the year. Small scale doesn't stop it from being a fully realized world with a heartwarming but bleak story of family. Avoid trailers to ensure you go in knowing as little as possible.
