  I realise this film becomes too pretentious & too full of itself, but it did a lot of things right before getting a bit lost in its own messages. Up there amongst Lijo's bests (ironic since this is the most un-Lijo film ever). Might be one of Mammootty's bests (I can't say for sure, not having watched every film he's been in).

  Very unequal mix of absolutely brilliant masala writing and terrible & pukeworthy commercial moments. Shame that there's more of the latter.

  Happy for SRK, but I think Jawan is where it is
