Halloween

Halloween ★★★★★

“just the two of us…”

Halloween, personally, is as much a seasonal staple just as much as it is a birthday staple—worth celebrating for each year around the sun as a strange sort of comfort film, and one to submerge into the whirlwind of admiration that hitches onto the blade in-tow. something eerie about watching it on a hot spring day with the sun shining and the windows open, where the Carpenter-Myers air permeates and exudes a binding sensation of tangible horror all the same, a definitive essence of haunting no matter the circumstance, and the most malleable “shape” of the sub-genre’s figure to ever come about, that more than deserves to join me in blowing out the candles on the cake every year.
