The Great Gatsby 2013
I expected better from this film, mediocre visual effects to say the least and Young and Beautiful could have not been played more throughout. I’m just bumping it up a half star cause of the cast ;)

Father Stu 2022
The fact that this is a true story really makes it that much more of a heart-rending story. Definitely was not expecting the route it went which was incredibly emotional but Stu’s growth and mindset is what touches the audience.

Honestly, say what you want about Cruella, but I loved it. So marvelous in all ways. The Emmas really pull off one heck of a performance as well. I felt so immersed while watching this and the costumes left me in awe. Best Costume Design possibly? The soundtrack was perfect and every aspect of the film is near perfection. Cruella definitely exceeded MY expectations.

Promising Young Woman 2020
The pastel colors. The astonishing performances. The incredible directing. All of these really make the movie what it is and Carey Mulligan really did give one heck of a performance of her role as Cassie. That ending was possibly one of the most bizarre and inexplicable endings I’ve yet to see out of a film as well. The deep backstory that goes on in this film showing you why Cassie does what she does manifests this issue that I really was quite oblivious to. I don’t like to admit it either. Just a phenomenally executed story into movie.
