Wow. That's my first thought: wow. They actually managed to create a horror film. When they first revealed this on the Investment Day 2 years ago, I was like "yeah right it's still MCU and accessible for kids". But wow. I'm impressed. That's one of the two highlights of this film. The other one being Elizabeth Olsen who absolutely carried! This is truly her best Marvel performance! The introduction for her was pretty fun. Truly impressed. Benedict Wong and Benedict Cumberbatch were pretty good and funny as well. Rachel McAdams was actually interesting.

Now sadly this wasn't perfect. The plot is weak. The story depends on 1 girl America Chavez, who isn't interesting at all. She doesn't contribute much, only when plot wants her to. But it's pretty weak. Pointless character, they could have come up with another way to travel through universes. Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo was wasted, just like everyone else who was in his team. I won't spoil too much, but it was first kinda cool. Sad we didn't see much of them, but kinda understandable I guess.

The visuals, the action, the choreography were all good. Thrbkillings were brutal. There wasn't any hype moment for me but boy I gotta re-mention the horror in this film. It was so so good. The music was nice as well, especially during the piano battle.

Now nearing the end / final battle it became too much for me plotwise. We got a lot of stuff in little time, maybe that's the "Madness" part of the "Multiverse of Madness". They should have slowed it down a bit nearing the end. Still, every scene with Wanda was so so good.

The first credit scene confuses me, the 2nd one is great! I had a fun time, but they should have slowed down things, especially nearing the ending. But yeah the horror was great, the humor was good, the acting was good, the action was very nice, so yeah as an MCU film it didn't fail that much.

3.5/5, mostly because of the horror and Elizabeth Olsen's performance.
