Sometimes it's more effective to have slashers minus any motivation. I'm kind of mixed about the big reveal. Where SICK excels are the chase scenes. There's a good half hour of sustained suspense and terror. I was genuinely on edge and loved how sharp that knife felt (looked). It's brief running time of just 83 minutes is both a plus and a minus. Had it been a guy in a face mask stalker, it'd have been perfect. The twist however felt kind of absurd (not in a good way). A bit more development might have saved it. There are some interesting ideas at play. Overall if you like slashers you could do a lot worse. Plus it's always nice to see Jane Adams.
