This is the coldest piece of cinema I have seen I a while, using a narrative that flashes forward and back between time and through pain, built the tension and a disturbing atmosphere and that lingered until the chilling and heartbreaking final moments. Not many films make me feel as much a dread and anger as this did. I was on the verge of tears when it all came together. It’s an important piece of emotional pain from a the eyes of mother who could do nothing about her son.
This is also a really good birth control ad.
