We Need to Talk About Kevin

This is the coldest piece of cinema I have seen I a while, using a narrative that flashes forward and back between time and through pain, built the tension and a disturbing atmosphere and that lingered until the chilling and heartbreaking final moments. Not many films make me feel as much a dread and anger as this did. Black Swan

    ★★★★½

Black Swan deconstructs the main character Nina’s anxiety ridden and over compulsive psyche in an elegantly horrific manner that blurs the line of reality in front of the viewer. Black Widow had to work as both as proper send off for Natasha Rominoff and for me it didn’t do that. It feels the placement of this movie in timeline and when it was released doesn't make sense in the grand scheme of things. This movie feels like it should have been released 5-8 years ago and releasing a film like this so late, when your character is offed in a film, then shows up in a prequel the stakes…

    Space Jam: A New Legacy

    ★★½

Space Jam a New Legacy is a fun time for what it is. If you love the original Space Jam, this follows the same beats, has some of the same jokes but is able to be its own thing and make it something great for audiences. Watching this in a sold out cinema hearing the laughs and roars from fellow movie goers and families taking their kids, made this more of an experience. There was a joke which I won’t…
