Brundle Fly’s review published on Letterboxd:
Visually, it's bonkers. Dream Master features some of the series high points for imaginative imagery and kills within (my favorites being Soul Pizza and the roach motel). Everything else however, is undercooked. No one is developed well enough for me to give a toss about their longevity in the film; there wasn't anyone to really root for. Once the "dream warriors" left the picture, everything fell flat, with only the promise of the aforementioned visual fx showcases to keep us following along. I still come back to this one from time to time, but it gets harder and harder to see it through to the end.
