I know it's most certainly far from perfect, but few things make me happier than the light hearted fun of The Phantom Menace, at the beginning of a prequel marathon where you know in a few hours you'll be an emotional wreck.

Many people will read this and think it's absurd to give this movie such a high score, but honestly watching this with friends a couple times a year is one of my favourite things. Every part of it is just a blast to watch, because even the not-so-great stuff is so much fun too. The flaws just make me love it even more!

The Phantom Menace is a movie that means so much to me. Watching it with my friends brings us so much joy and, at the end of the day, isn't that really the important thing?
