Killian’s review published on Letterboxd:
One of the few movies I've seen that truly deserves the titles of 'epic' and 'masterpiece'.
This film is a technical marvel in every way; from the sprawling set pieces; the perfect editing and scene transitions; the masterful handling of time; the incredible performances; and of course the euphoric soundtrack.
I put off watching this movie for a while because of that daunting runtime. But I honestly wasn't bored for a single minute of that 229 minute runtime. It holds on to your emotions tightly and refuses to let go until Leone absolute knocks you on your ass by that ending.
It you've been putting off watching this movie like I did please do yourself a favour and set aside the time to see this masterwork.
