Kid County’s review published on Letterboxd:
This movie is so re-watchable. The atmosphere throughout the whole movie is so pleasant and warm.
Throughout the movie we see Mr Fox come to an acceptance of his life. He learns to accept his son for who he is, even with the juxtaposition of his cousin who appears to be the son he wishes he had. He learns to to accept his purpose as a fox, despite trying to deny it for his family. And he learns to accept that he can fail, despite wishing to be seen by everyone as “the greatest”.
Although there are many other movies with similar themes, there’s something more real and warming about this one.
