I was completely unprepared for how much I loved this movie. Hands down my favorite MCU origin movie, and definitely in my top 5 or 6 MCU movies period. The action scenes were more in line with a martial arts or John Woo film than a typical comic book movie, the scenes directly inspired by Asian cinema were so lovingly crafted, and that score was beautiful. This was a very nice surprise, and I already can’t wait to revisit it.
